Dien Bien opens Ban Flower Festival

The Ban Flower Festival is a place to honor the traditional cultural beauty of the ethnic communities in the Northwest region. In the photo, the gourd model car implies that all ethnic groups in Vietnam are born from a gourd, sharing the same origin and source.

Emphasizing the significance of the Hoa Ban Festival as an opportunity to honor, preserve and promote the unique traditional values ​​of the 19 ethnic groups in Dien Bien province; promoting the beauty of Dien Bien in particular and the Northwest region in general, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do also informed more about the province's potential, with the hope that investors will learn and exploit to support Dien Bien to develop strongly.

A performance in the opening art program with the theme "Fragrance and Colors of the Northwest".

After the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Ban Flower Festival and the 7th Dien Bien Province Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival, there was a special art program with the theme "Fragrance of the Northwest". The program consisted of 2 parts: "Spreading fragrance in the Northwest" and "Dien Bien sparkling in the land of aspiration" with 12 performances, choir singing and dancing, invested in and elaborately constructed, on a grand scale, combining the elements: Singing - dancing - music - orchestra with creative elements, traditional combined with modern.

The beautifully designed outdoor stage combined with lighting effects and 3D techniques brings the audience a colorful harmony, recreating an overall artistic picture imbued with the culture of the ethnic groups in Dien Bien, about a hospitable land of Ban flowers. At the same time, it shows a Dien Bien with the aspiration to develop in the new era.

A large number of people and tourists from all over the country visited and cheered for the folk sports competitions.

The art program ended with a solidarity circle dance. Everyone excitedly held hands and joined in the circle dance, enjoying the music, exchanging smiles, tight handshakes and warm promises.
