Farmers have to go to the fields to till the soil and sow peanuts again.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh - Head of the Statistics Department of Dien Thinh commune said that after the People's Committee of the commune and the hamlets inspected the actual field, the area of ​​peanuts that died was over 70%, accounting for over 200 hectares (equal to 50% of the total peanut cultivation area of ​​the whole commune); the area of ​​peanuts that died was from 30 - 70%, accounting for 144 hectares (equal to 36% of the total peanut cultivation area of ​​the whole commune).

The total budget supported by the state budget for farmers in the whole commune in terms of seeds and materials for the lost peanut area is up to 533 million VND./.
