Dien Chau: 2,000 ducklings of unknown origin destroyed.

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 15th, the Dien Chau District Veterinary Station organized the destruction of 2,000 ducklings of unknown origin.

The ducklings of unknown origin were taken away by the Dien Chau Veterinary Station for destruction.

Earlier, at 10 PM on April 13th, a patrol team from the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station ( thuộc the Nghe An Traffic Police Department) was on duty at kilometer 418 of National Highway 1A in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province when they spotted and inspected a passenger bus with license plate 74B-00079. The driver was Mr. Le Phuoc Cuong (born in 1980), residing in Vinh Phu, Vinh Linh, Quang Tri, driving in the North-South direction.

Upon inspection, authorities discovered 20 styrofoam boxes containing 2,000 one-day-old ducklings in the vehicle. These ducklings lacked documentation proving their origin and did not have quarantine certificates from the relevant authorities.

The task force seized the ducklings and handed them over to the Dien Chau Veterinary Station for processing and disposal in accordance with the law.
