Dien Chau donates 100 million VND to support the construction of "Great Solidarity" houses.
On August 9th, the Steering Committee for supporting the construction and repair of houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties in Dien Chau district awarded 100 million VND to support the construction of "Great Solidarity" houses for two poor families in Dien Hung commune.
The family of Ms. Dau Thi Cai in Cu Nai village, Dien Hung commune, is a household in extremely difficult circumstances. Their income depends on social welfare benefits and assistance from relatives. Currently, the family does not own a house and is living with their nephew.
The Steering Committee for supporting the construction and repair of houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties in Dien Chau district has helped and supported Mrs. Tran's family in building a new, spacious house. The house has a usable area of 60 square meters.2The house has a tiled roof and a ceramic tile floor, with a total construction value of approximately 143 million VND. Of this amount, the District's Fund for Supporting the Construction and Repair of Houses for Poor and Disadvantaged Households provided the family with 50 million VND, and the remaining amount was contributed by the family and relatives.
On the same day, the Steering Committee for supporting the construction and repair of houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties in Dien Chau district also handed over 50 million VND to support the construction of a "Great Solidarity" house for Mr. Le Hung Son's family in Cu Nai village, Dien Hung commune.
