A forum for exchanging and updating advanced techniques in dental and maxillofacial treatment.
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 26th, the Vietnam Dental Association, in collaboration with the Nghe An Dental Association, organized the 6th Scientific Conference and Continuing Education Program in Dentistry. This is an annual activity of the Association aimed at disseminating advanced medical achievements in the field of dentistry.
The ceremony was attended by Comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from provincial departments and agencies.
The conference was attended by leaders of the Vietnam Medical and Pharmaceutical Association, the Vietnam Dental Association, as well as representatives from provincial and city health departments, hospital leaders, experts, and doctors from across the country.

This forum provides an opportunity for experts and doctors specializing in oral and maxillofacial surgery nationwide to network, learn, and update their knowledge and skills with advanced and specialized techniques in the field, thereby improving their professional expertise, the quality of medical examination and treatment, and healthcare for the people.
Over the three days of the conference, 40 scientific papers will be presented in specialized fields such as: maxillofacial plastic surgery, maxillofacial orthodontic surgery, orthodontics, dental prosthetics, endodontic treatment, etc.

The conference also included activities such as: a student scientific forum for dental and maxillofacial training institutions; hands-on practice on models of updated techniques and equipment in endodontic treatment; and a dental exhibition showcasing advanced dental equipment and materials.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Dental Association awarded commemorative medals to Mr. Le Gia Vinh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Association of Medicine and Pharmacy; Mr. Le Minh Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Mr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Acting Director of the Department of Health; and Mr. Tran Quoc Thanh - Director of the Department of Science and Technology, in recognition of their contributions to the development of the Association.
