Do Luong Power Company connects electricity to poor households.
(Baonghean.vn) - Do Luong Power Company has gone to 5 communes in the district to install new electricity systems for some poor families and families entitled to preferential policies.
In the bitterly cold days of the year-end, Mrs. Phan Thi Nha's family in Hamlet 7, Trung Son Commune, was overjoyed to have a new electricity system installed. Her family is classified as a poor household with particularly difficult circumstances: her husband suffers from a congenital condition that renders him deaf and mute; her eldest daughter suffers from depression. Mrs. Phan Thi Nha said: "For years we have longed for electricity, and now, with the support and assistance from the electricity sector, our family is very happy."

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thong, Deputy Director of Do Luong Power Company, said: "This is a program to help poor households. Do Luong Power Company wants to send a message about using electricity safely and economically..."
In line with its customer appreciation policy, Do Luong Power Company has visited five communes in the district to install new electrical systems for several poor and disadvantaged families. The power lines installed by Do Luong Power Company are safe and durable, including connections from the main power line in the hamlet to the houses, replacement of all internal wiring, installation of circuit breakers, electrical panels, and compact fluorescent light bulbs. On average, each family received an investment of 2.5 million VND for the equipment.
The fact that the electricity sector is providing free electricity to some poor households demonstrates a spirit of mutual support and compassion. In these last days of the year, having access to safe electricity will alleviate some of the difficulties these poor families face in their daily lives.
