Appearing at events, H'Hen Niê is not afraid to transform her image in many different ways to bring something new to the audience.
During her trip to Sa Pa to be a judge for the Miss Tourism Vietnam competition, H'Hen Niê took the opportunity to shoot a new photo series with her team. She wore a black strapless dress with a high slit, paired with a fur hat and a white shawl, creating a contrast while still highlighting her signature tan skin.
New photos of the beauty queen born in 1992 have sparked discussion among viewers. Many were surprised by the new look of Miss Universe Vietnam 2017.
H'Hen Niê and her team took advantage of the opportunity to take photos at beautiful spots for about 30 minutes before moving to the stage area to prepare for the semi-final competition. The Ê Đê beauty confided: “It’s been over 9 years since I had the chance to return to Sa Pa. So I wanted to capture some memories here. This isn't the first time H'Hen Niê's judging outfits have been praised. Previously, at Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, H'Hen Niê showcased many unique and diverse outfits, not confining herself to one particular image. H'Hen Niê said she often studies the nature of the event to plan her outfits and makeup accordingly. “For example, for events with red carpet appearances or formal stage performances, I have to choose appropriate attire because it's also a way of showing respect to the audience and organizers. Depending on the program, I might add a little extra flair, like my hair or accessories. Transforming her image helps her feel fresher, but sometimes it leads to negative feedback, which H'Hen Niê considers normal. She believes everyone has different tastes, so some images are praised while others don't suit the preferences of the majority of the audience. "I still maintain the principle of allowing myself to try new looks, as long as they aren't too offensive or negative. And especially, the image must be appropriate for the event or program I'm appearing in," the 32-year-old beauty shared with us. (Photo:)NVCC
When asked about continuing to reinvent herself with short hair, H'Hen Niê said she also had this thought, especially when looking back at photos from her international competitions. Expressing her views further on cosmetic surgery, H'Hen Niê shared: “That's everyone's private matter, I won't comment on whether I support or oppose it. As long as that person feels happy and content with their decision, and feels more confident, that's all that matters. Sometimes in life, doing what you want is also a joy.” (Photo)NVCC
