The project to upgrade the facilities of the Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum (now the Soviet Nghe Tinh Exhibition House at the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum) commenced in December 2024, with a design based on modern museology principles, reflecting the unique characteristics of the revolutionary movement of Nghe An province in the course of Vietnamese history. After 8 months of construction, the project was completed on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Soviet Nghe Tinh.
The highlight of the new exhibition hall is its layout, arranged like a symphony of colors and images; many creative spaces with distinctive visual language, including themes such as "Chains" and "Liberation," or lighting and sound techniques that evoke the rhythm of the protests of yesteryear. In particular, the exhibition emphasizes honoring the indomitable and optimistic spirit of the revolutionary masses, alongside many valuable artifacts, such as President Ho Chi Minh's handwritten "Preface" to the Museum in 1964. The project is expected to fulfill the aspirations of those who love history, culture, and the land of Nghe An, and to become an indispensable destination on the Central Vietnam heritage route.
