Fire drill at Ben Thuy oil depot

On the afternoon of May 12, Fire Police Department No. 1 coordinated with Ben Thuy petroleum depot of Nghe An Petroleum Company to organize a fire fighting plan drill.

In the hypothetical situation, as soon as the fire was detected, the fire prevention force of Ben Thuy oil depot deployed on-site plans and at the same time called the fire police force.

Upon receiving the news, Fire Police Department No. 1 mobilized 45 officers and soldiers, 5 specialized fire trucks, and 1 ladder truck to quickly reach the scene.

Because the area where the fire occurred contained nearly 20,000 m3 of gasoline and oil, the risk of fire spreading and exploding was very high, so the professional fire fighting force used fire fighting measures at the same time to control the fire, extinguish the fire and deploy rescue work.

After 20 minutes of using water and foam, the fire was controlled and extinguished.
