Exercise to resolve hotspots at border crossings.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Nậm Cắn International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, recently conducted a drill to resolve hotspots at the Nậm Cắn International Border Gate.

The situation arose when several families sought refuge in the border area. While border patrol officers were explaining the situation, some extremist individuals created a pretext for clashes with the officers, causing congestion at the border crossing. The situation was becoming increasingly complicated.

To address the above issue and restore order at the border gate, the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station has implemented a plan to prevent disturbances and riots at the border gate. They have coordinated with local Party committees and authorities at all levels and relevant forces to disseminate information, persuade, and explain the situation to the people, especially by enlisting the support of village elders, community leaders, and influential individuals to encourage people to return to their localities and stabilize their lives.

Simultaneously, coordinate with the local police and militia to set up checkpoints to prevent undesirable individuals from infiltrating the border crossing. In addition, inform the other side to coordinate the resolution of any issues.

The exercise aimed to enhance the effectiveness of combating and preventing illegal migration and improve coordination in handling border management and protection cases, controlling immigration and emigration, and ensuring security and order in border areas.
