Early morning on July 12th, Diep Lam Anh posted a heartfelt letter to her 4-year-old son, B.Boy. In the letter, she wrote: "When I gave birth to you, I told myself I would never do two things: punish the table if you trip over it, and explain to everyone that...""The child is too young to understand anything.".
The actress believes this parenting style stems from the favoritism many women have towards their children. However, she doesn't allow herself to do that because she wants her son to grow up to be a strong man who takes responsibility for his mistakes.
For Diep Lam Anh, a child will never truly grow up without paying the price for their mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, whether big or small, as they mature. She wants her son to confront, accept, and change his mistakes, instead of always running into her arms. The actress also wouldn't allow herself or her son to do that, even though she's confident she's capable of protecting him like any other mother.
