Adjusting land use planning to 2020 in Nghia Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Council of Nghia Dan district (Nghe An) has just issued a Resolution on adjusting land use planning until 2020.
Accordingly, the total natural area is 61,754.55 hectares, of which agricultural land is 51,881.62 hectares (accounting for 84.01%); non-agricultural land is 9,444.93 hectares (accounting for 15.29%); unused land is 428 hectares (accounting for 0.69%).

Compared with the current land use status in 2015, agricultural land area decreased by 1,429.14 hectares, unused land area decreased by 218.16 hectares, non-agricultural land increased by 1,647.3 hectares, mainly used for national defense, infrastructure development at national, provincial, district and commune levels.
The planning adjustment will basically meet the land use needs for urban development and rural residential areas, meeting the needs of developing commune cluster centers. Thereby, creating more revenue from land allocation and land lease; creating favorable conditions for the conversion of appropriate crop and livestock structure.
