The regret of People's Artist Ha Vy - mother of famous female MC VTV
People's Artist Ha Vy - mother of VTV MC Hoang Trang said that when she was young, she only learned enough foreign languages for a few songs, so for the female artist, "it would be good to learn more foreign languages".

-The title of People's Artist you just received must be very memorable?
The title of People's Artist is a source of pride and is worthy of the artists' contributions. I am honored and proud of what I have done. Of course, there are many artists who have not been fortunate enough to receive the title, but I believe that the audience's perception and evaluation are the most objective and accurate.
-You came to art when you were only 16 years old and your first teacher must have had a lot of influence?
That’s right. The first teacher who taught me to recite poetry was the late People’s Artist Tran Thi Tuyet. It was the first time I heard her recite with clear, round words and full of emotions. Until now, I still remember her voice, from the way she chanted, the way she enunciated, especially the following lines: “Oh majestic Fatherland/ Heroic land of the 20th century/ Be proud on the front line against America/ There is the wonderful heroic South".
At that time, the poetry seemed to penetrate and penetrate my blood and flesh. My love for poetry was also ignited from there. Music and poetry always flowed in me, like blood running through my body!

- What are your memorable memories of your early days in the profession?
I was recruited by the late People's Artist Le Doa of the Armed Police Art Troupe. That was when I was singing at a conference of the Trading Cooperative, and at that time, I hung loudspeakers on electric poles and tree branches at the alley entrance. They heard my voice and recruited me into the Armed Police Art Troupe.
At that time, I was surprised, happy and felt extremely lucky because I always longed and wished to sing to be recorded on the radio and broadcast everywhere. At that time, I was passionate about listening to artists such as Ms. Tuyet Thanh, Ms. Bich Lien, Ms. Tuyet Nhung, Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet, Ms. Chau Loan...
- You have won many prestigious awards as well as the love of the audience, is there anything that People's Artist Ha Vy regrets?
When I was recruited to join the Armed Police Art Troupe, I was a girl from the countryside who sang instinctively. Before that, I had only attended a one-week training course organized by the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports. In our time, we learned Russian and French but very little, just enough to sing a few songs. It would have been better if we had learned more foreign languages.
- People's Artist Ha Vy is often mentioned by the audience as a soldier who sings with all her heart, her voice transcending borders. Surely you have had to sacrifice a lot of family work and taking care of your children for business trips?
Remembering the story of being away from my children on business trips, I can't help but feel sad. Once, my husband and I went on a business trip to Tay Ninh for 4 and a half months. At that time, Ly - my second daughter was not yet 2 years old. I had to send her to her grandparents.
When I came back, my daughter kept hugging her grandmother’s neck, looking back at the picture hanging on the wall and then looking at me because she didn’t recognize her mother. Seeing her with boils all over her body because of the heat, I felt so sorry for her, I had to hold back my tears. Many times I felt weak and wanted to quit my job because I wanted to spend time with my family.

-MC Hoang Trang- host of famous VTV programs such as: Cultural rendezvous, Time memories, Knock on the new day, End of year afternoon, Happy lunch and Proud melody... shares her pride in being her daughter. Have you ever had any expectations and set any goals for MC Hoang Trang?
I am lucky to have a husband and children who always support and stand by my side at every moment. Trang has been loved by everyone since she was little because she is quick, hard-working and intelligent. At the age of 5, she could imitate foreign songs, she could not pronounce the words but her tone was very standard. When she grew up, when she followed music competitions, people also commented that she looked very much like me. However, it is true that the profession chooses the person. I am happy that my child found the right passion and is always dedicated to it.
- Busy with work, but in the eyes of her children, People's Artist Ha Vy is a woman who is good at cooking and housework?
I am a traditional woman. I am a workaholic and cannot stand idleness.
Partly because I am blessed with resilience, partly because the soldier in me does not allow me to falter, always optimistic and ready in all circumstances. In addition, just seeing people enjoying the delicious dishes I cook makes me very happy.
When the children are happy, I feel comfortable.

-MC Hoang Trang's daughter shared that she has never seen her stop working and feels that if she has too much free time, she will get sick?
I am quite meticulous, careful and meticulous. Even now that I have grandchildren, I am still the same. Sometimes people around me say: "The crab lives like a crab, the clam lives like a clam" but really, it is not that I spoil my children, but I want to share. When my children are happy and joyful, I can be at ease.
- What do you think about the current generation of young singers when some singers are not really highly appreciated for their voices but become famous quickly?
Nowadays, the diverse development of music genres creates many opportunities for young people. With folk music, revolutionary music, competitions like Sao Mai have brought singers like Tung Duong, Ngoc Khue, which I am very passionate about. I think ability and love for music are the factors that help singers gain a long-term position in the hearts of the audience because it is not easy to reach success.
- According to People's Artist Ha Vy, how can we make the young generation love and nurture their love for revolutionary and traditional music?
In music competitions, revolutionary music, traditional music has never been forgotten, on the contrary, it is mash-up, flexibly transformed and brought its own color. I always hope that young singers, the younger generation understand their roots and take pride in the history and music of our country.
