Shaping 10 North Central regional centers in Vinh City

(Baonghean.vn) - According to Decision 2468 of the Prime Minister, Vinh City is determined to become the center of the North Central region in 10 fields. Currently, the province, Vinh City and related sectors are actively implementing steps to effectively implement the Decision.

Nghe An Newspaper would like to introduce 10 key centers of the North Central region built in Vinh City according to Decision 2468.

Developing the credit and banking system in the direction of diversifying service types: Auditing, insurance, financial leasing, financial consulting, stock market, regional real estate transactions.

Innovate and strengthen facilities and resources for public science and technology centers and organizations; promote the formation of science and technology enterprises. Attract industries and sectors that create high added value such as: hardware and software equipment manufacturing, IT industry support services. By 2020, 50-70% of total transactions of economic sectors will be conducted through electronic transaction systems; 100% of state management agencies, units, enterprises and organizations will apply information technology in their operations.

The high-tech industrial sectors that are focused on development are: automation, new materials, IT, electronics, biotechnology, healthcare, education and training. By 2020, the proportion of high-tech industrial products and high-tech application products will reach about 45% of the total industrial production value of the city.

Constructing synchronous and modern cultural facilities, performing arts centers, information and press systems, cultural centers of ethnic groups in the North Central region; the North Central branch of the Museum of Ethnology, symbol of Vinh City.

Develop many types of sports, focusing on strong sports. Train and develop a team of high-performance athletes; strive to have Vinh City among the top 10 provinces and cities with strong sports movements in the country by 2020.

Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of educational management, promote training of teachers and lecturers; develop and implement international cooperation programs in college and university training; attract investment in building international universities in Vinh and Cua Lo areas.
