During the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Nghe An province will still be accepting applications for identity cards and electronic identification.
During the April 30th - May 1st holiday, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department will continue to deploy personnel at the One-Stop Service Center and police stations in communes and wards to issue identity cards and level 2 electronic identification accounts for children aged 6 to under 14 years old.
To date, the Nghe An Provincial Police have issued 191,250 identity cards and 41,781 electronic identification accounts for children aged 6 to under 14.

According to Colonel Luong The Loc, Head of the Administrative Police Department for Social Order of Nghe An Provincial Police, the issuance of identity cards and electronic identification accounts brings many practical benefits in population management, education, and the implementation of administrative procedures and public services in the digital environment. This is not only an administrative procedure but also an important right of citizens, including children.
The provincial police recommend that parents proactively take their children to get their identity cards and request the integration of electronic identification accounts at the nearest identity card issuance points under the commune-level police where they reside.

To facilitate citizens, during the April 30th - May 1st holiday period (from April 30th to May 3rd, 2026), the One-Stop Service Department of the Provincial Police and the police of communes and wards in Nghe An province will still have working groups on duty to issue identity cards and electronic identification throughout the holiday.
