PV:As you know, in 2021, Do Luong, like many other localities, faced difficulties due to natural disasters and epidemics, especially the Covid-19 epidemic. However, the district still made efforts to achieve the "dual goal". Can you tell us about the specific results?

Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh:Under the leadership and direction of the District Party Executive Committee, the participation of the entire political system with the highest spirit, in 2021 the Party Committee and peopleDo Luong districthas made efforts and agreed to carry out political tasks, achieving many important results in all fields, notably:
Covid-19 prevention and control work has been unified and effectively implemented to prevent the outbreak and spread of the disease in the community. It is ensured that each step is flexible, safe, and effectively controlled.

Early implementation of the development and direction of the comprehensive plan from the beginning of the year. High consensus, solidarity, and unanimity in comprehensive implementation of all fields. Specifically, basic economic indicators were achieved and exceeded. Growth rate of 10.3% compared to 2020, of which, the added production value of the agricultural sector increased by 5.62%; industry - basic construction increased by 13.66%; services - trade increased by 9.59%; average income per capita reached 59 million VND/year. Budget revenue exceeded the estimate assigned by the ordinance. Culture and society developed. National defense and security were ensured. The drills in the district defense area and 11 communes and towns achieved good results.

The locality also successfully organized the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term, ensuring compliance with the law, safety, high voter turnout; elected enough deputies, ensuring the structure.

The district has also directed the construction of 3 communes Giang Son Tay, Hong Son, Dai Son to meet new rural standards, completing the construction of new rural areas at the commune level with 32/32 communes. Promoting the transformation of agricultural economic structure, increasing the value per unit area. Building key products with high value; bringing 11 Do Luong agricultural products to consumption at the WinMart supermarket chain.

Along with that is to mobilize internal resources, attract investment, build basic and synchronous infrastructure to create the foundation for developing the district in the direction ofurbanization. Coordinate the implementation of the project to build Do Luong into a type IV urban area before 2025; build Do Luong town before 2030. Continue to do well the work of building the Party and political system from district to commune to be clean and strong in all aspects. Promote the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, arouse the aspiration and effort to build a rich and beautiful homeland of Do Luong.

Closely follow economic - cultural, social, defense and security targets. Strive for economic growth of 11.4% compared to 2021. Bring average income per capita to 65.76 million VND/year. Budget revenue in the area reaches 352.35 billion VND...

Highly concentrate on successfully building 2-3 communes that meet the criteria of advanced new rural areas. Basically complete the criteria of new rural districts.

Increase cultural and social activities. At the same time, renovate, upgrade and improve historical and cultural relics in the area, especially the historical and cultural relic of Qua Son temple.

Develop a plan and focus on making efforts to implement the contents of the Project to build Do Luong town into a type IV urban area before 2025; complete the construction of Do Luong town before 2030.
