The COVID-19 prevention and control efforts have been effectively implemented to prevent outbreaks and community spread. This ensures a flexible, safe, and effective approach to containment.
The comprehensive plan was implemented and directed early in the year. There was consensus, unity, and high levels of agreement in the comprehensive implementation across all sectors. Specifically, basic economic indicators were met and exceeded. The growth rate was 10.3% compared to 2020, with the added value of agriculture increasing by 5.62%; industry and basic construction by 13.66%; and services and trade by 9.59%. Average per capita income reached 59 million VND/year. Budget revenue exceeded the legally mandated target. Culture and social development progressed. National defense and security were ensured. The district-level and 11 commune/township-level defense zone exercises achieved good results.
The locality also successfully organized the election of National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2021-2026 term, ensuring compliance with the law, safety, and a high voter turnout; electing the full number of representatives and ensuring the appropriate structure.
