Do Luong: Tightening the problem of "brokers", establishing a supervision team to successfully auction 259 land lots
(Baonghean.vn) - From the beginning of 2019 to now, the People's Committee of Do Luong district has coordinated with professional auction organizations to organize 12 auctions in 12 communes in the district, successfully auctioning 259 land lots. The amount of money collected from the auction is 126.6 billion VND.
Typically, the communes: Trang Son had 32 auctioned lots earning 13.7 billion VND; Hoa Son had 34 lots earning 12.36 billion VND; Tan Son had 21 lots earning 14.7 billion VND; Thai Son had 33 lots earning 22.4 billion VND; Luu Son had 31 lots earning 17 billion VND...

To tighten the problem of land brokers, in reality, the District People's Committee has established a team to monitor auctions. On average, each team has 6 members, the Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee in charge of the economic sector is the team leader, the members are representatives of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Justice, Finance, and Infrastructure Economics.
The monitoring team coordinated with the People's Committees of communes with land up for auction, directly participated in monitoring the auctions and took appropriate and timely measures. In particular, determining the land price step in accordance with the actual situation, close to the market value of the land lot, avoiding budget loss, ensuring fairness and the interests of auction participants.

Therefore, it is difficult for "land brokers" to commit acts such as: colluding, lowering prices, and forcing prices on auction participants.
Do Luong District People's Committee also requested the People's Committees of communes with land for auction, in the process of determining the starting price of the land plot, to closely follow the current market land price.
In the coming time, the District People's Committee will learn from the experience of some districts to advise on pilot indirect auction plans for some communes.
