Do Luong visits and presents gifts to victims affected by Agent Orange/Dioxin.

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 9th, the leaders of Do Luong district organized visits and presented gifts to disadvantaged victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the area, on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Day.

Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam – Chairman of the District People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to families affected by Agent Orange.

In Do Luong District, nearly 2,500 people were affected by chemical toxins after the war against the US. Of these, 1,219 receive allowances. Currently, many cases are extremely tragic. Some families have three generations affected by Agent Orange (Dioxin), with some families having up to four victims, facing extremely difficult economic conditions.

During their visits, the leaders of Do Luong district encouraged and shared the difficulties faced by victims of Agent Orange/dioxin contamination.
