Do My Linh served as a judge for Miss Vietnam 2018.
The beauty queen was chosen to judge the national beauty pageant because of her active social involvement and maintaining a positive image throughout her two years as crowned queen.
My Linh is the first reigning Miss Vietnam to become a judge at a national beauty pageant. In her personal life, she presents a positive image, free from scandals and living optimistically, creating much goodwill during her two years as reigning queen." Besides her, the organizers will invite two more beauty queens to sit on the judging panel, but their names have not yet been revealed.

Miss Vietnam 2018 was designed to closely resemble Miss World. Therefore, the organizers hoped that My Linh's experience competing in that pageant would help her make fair assessments and select a suitable candidate for the new Miss Vietnam title.
Do My Linh is currently on a business trip to the US and Canada. She shared: “When I was crowned, there were mixed opinions, and this time it will certainly be the same. But over the past time, I have been very happy that people have recognized my efforts. As a judge, I will also try my best, using my own experience to fulfill the responsibility that the organizers have entrusted to me.”
My Linh, born in 1996, is a student at the Foreign Trade University of Hanoi. She is 1.71 m tall, weighs 52 kg, and has body measurements of 87-61-94 cm. After winning Miss Vietnam, she became the face of many charitable, community, and brand activities. In 2017, she represented Vietnam at Miss World, reaching the top 40 and winning the Miss World Humanitarian Award for her project "Bringing electricity to remote villages in Yen Bai." That same year, she won the Best Face award organized by a fashion magazine. My Linh is about to graduate from university and is currently working as an MC for several television programs to hone her communication skills.

The Miss Vietnam 2018 pageant is currently in the registration phase. This year, the organizers are accepting online applications in addition to registration at physical locations. The Southern preliminary round will take place on June 10th in Ho Chi Minh City. The final round will be held from mid-August to the end of September in Ha Long, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. This season, the organizers are offering several sub-competitions such as Miss Congeniality, Miss Beach, Miss Talent, Miss Fashion, Miss Media, Miss Sport, and Miss Tourism...
