Do My Linh speaks out after being criticized for being "less prominent" than other Miss Vietnam winners.
Do My Linh was crowned Miss Vietnam 2016 on August 28th. Nearly two months after becoming the new Miss Vietnam, My Linh has rarely attended events, only occasionally appearing in the media with fashion photoshoots. A few hours ago, the beauty queen shared her thoughts on this matter for the first time.
Do My Linh confided that she has been busy with her studies and numerous social projects lately, so she has appeared less frequently in the media. Many people say My Linh has faded into obscurity compared to other Misses, but she is not upset.
Because My Linh knows what is most important to her during this period. "I still have a lot to do, including the great mission of being a student and a beauty queen. Winning the Miss Vietnam title is a great stroke of luck in my life. Therefore, I hope to share and spread that luck to those who need help right now. I don't want to attend too many events. But, there is an upcoming event I have accepted with the desire to donate all the payment to the people in Central Vietnam."

Do My Linh further shared that in the past few days, she has also called on people to support the people in Central Vietnam and has received a considerable amount of cash and goods. The beauty queen admitted that she is young and doesn't have many connections, so she doesn't have a lot of money and doesn't aspire to raise a large sum. However, she promised to use everyone's money in the most appropriate way, delivering it directly to those in need.
The beauty queen, born in 1996, feels remorseful for not being able to be with the flood victims right now, due to her busy work schedule and school exams. She hopes that those who have donated money through her will patiently wait a few more days.
On her personal page, My Linh also asked for opinions from friends and fans on what kind of emergency support should be provided to the people.
In recent days, in addition to artists calling for donations and visiting flood-affected areas in Quang Binh and Ha Tinh provinces, several Miss Vietnam winners such as Ngoc Han and Ky Duyen have also been present in these localities to distribute gifts to the people.
