Eco Central Park urban area - a favorite destination for the green and healthy living community.

Nearly 3000 runners raced through the green metropolis.

On the morning of March 15th, Eco Central Park (nearly 200 hectares, Nghe An province), the mega-urban area founded by Ecopark, welcomed nearly 3000 runners from across the country to participate in the Eco Central Park Marathon – a large-scale race named after the urban area, the first of its kind to be organized.

The race features four distances named after the four seasons: Spring (3 km) for beginners, Summer (5 km) designed for high energy, Autumn (10 km) for relaxation, and Winter (21 km) for a more challenging experience. A unique feature is the route, which winds through vibrant flowerbeds spanning over 40,000 square meters around the urban area.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan – Head of the Eco Central Park Marathon Organizing Committee shared: “There are appointments that aren't at restaurants, cafes, or movie theaters, but rather about putting on our shoes and stepping out onto the road, striding along the running route. The Eco Central Park Marathon is not simply a race, but a way for people to share a journey together: starting together, encouraging each other, and cheering each other on towards the finish line. These are also journeys in life: starting, encouraging, and striving to successfully reach the finish line.”

We were also delighted to welcome approximately 300 young runners who enthusiastically participated in the race, experiencing their first time running in a large green park, breathing in the fresh air, and together building a green, healthy, and harmonious lifestyle in harmony with nature.”

“Crossing the road lined with lush green trees, the orange, yellow, purple, and pink hues of dozens of different flowers whose names I don't even know, then the inner streets and romantic bridges like something out of a movie; with lyrics like 'That day, that day will not be far away and we will be the winners…' in my ears, I felt like I was ‘reborn,’ given a boost of positive energy, and incredibly exhilarated. I will definitely come back here again,” shared Ms. Trinh Thi Lan Anh (38 years old, residing in Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An).

The founder of Ecopark is the first and only real estate developer in Vietnam to own its own branded running event, and together with the community of running enthusiasts, has successfully organized 6 seasons of the race in the green city of Ecopark (Hung Yen).

In Nghe An, Eco Central Park urban area is hosting the event for the first time, marking a step towards expanding green sports playgrounds and spreading a green, healthy lifestyle amidst nature to Central Vietnam.

Ms. Mai Thi Hong Quyen – Director of Sales and Marketing at Ecopark – stated that in the context of rapidly developing urban areas, work pressure, pollution, and a fast-paced lifestyle, the need for a balanced living environment is becoming increasingly urgent. For many years, Ecopark has been a pioneering brand in Vietnam in creating green and healthy residential communities, where people are connected to nature and maintain an active lifestyle every day. This philosophy continues to be strongly promoted at Eco Central Park – the largest ecological urban area in Nghe An, where green spaces and sports activities become an integral part of daily life.

“Besides this large-scale running event, we have organized many swimming, football, and pickleball competitions for residents, as well as exchanges between residents, the developer, and local people to promote a green and healthy lifestyle. Even before the planning stage, we designed more than 20 sports complexes and playgrounds; 3 clubhouses with swimming pools and recreational and health care facilities to encourage an active lifestyle among residents,” said Ms. Hong Quyen.

At Eco Central Park, 50 hectares of parks, water features, and ecological landscapes have been developed to create a "green lung" for the city. This space not only improves air quality but also encourages residents to maintain healthy exercise habits such as jogging and walking every morning, cycling around the park and lake, practicing yoga, meditating in nature, and participating in community sports. As a result, residents don't need to travel far to find spaces for exercise or relaxation; their health is nurtured right in their daily living environment.

From here, the community shares sustainable values ​​such as respecting and protecting nature, prioritizing physical activity and healthcare, fostering community through outdoor activities, and building a balanced work-life lifestyle. These values ​​help Ecopark's urban areas become not just places to live, but vibrant and happy communities.

Eco Central Park, spanning nearly 200 hectares, is the first urban development project by Ecopark's founder in Central Vietnam. Since its commencement in March 2023, the project has handed over more than 1,500 homes. In 2026, the developer plans to hand over an additional 1,200 homes. Alongside this, commercial and service facilities, as well as schools, are also nearing completion and are expected to be operational in 2026 to serve residents.

Pioneering in "green planning" and developing transportation infrastructure to suit the increasing trend of private car use in Nghe An, prioritizing green energy, the Ecopark developer has also designed environmentally friendly electric vehicle charging stations. Accordingly, the entire urban area will have 10 electric vehicle charging stations to serve the long-term needs of residents, contributing to reducing emissions and preserving the environment.
