Thai female student wins prize for trip to Japan
(Baonghean.vn) - With a total score of 28.65, including (Math: 8, Literature: 8.5 and English: 9.4), Quan Thi Ngoc Bich - a Thai student from Quy Hop 1 High School (Quy Hop) was admitted as valedictorian of the University of Foreign Languages, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. She is one of 35 students with high scores in the National High School Exam, recently honored by the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Quan Thi Ngoc Bich (born 2000) comes from a poor farming family in Con village, Chau Quang commune (Quy Hop). Despite economic difficulties, the family is near-poor, with only a few acres of sugarcane fields, but both Bich and her brother are very good students. Currently, Bich's older brother is in his final year at Hue Medical University.
For 12 consecutive years, Bich has always been at the top of her class in terms of academic achievement, achieving the title of an excellent student. In high school, Bich was quite good at all subjects, especially English. For many consecutive years, she was an excellent student in the province in both Literature and English.
In this year's university entrance exam, Bich registered for the University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. "I am confident that I will get a high score of about 25 points, but I don't think I will be valedictorian," Bich shared.

With a score of 28.65 points, Quan Thi Ngoc Bich is the valedictorian of Hanoi University of Foreign Languages. She excellently won a short-term study tour to Japan worth 50 million VND and a scholarship from the school worth one year of tuition. At the same time, she is also the only student with a high score in the National High School Exam in the mountainous district of Quy Hop to be honored by the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Sharing her study secrets, Bich humbly said: “To study well, each person has their own method. For me, first of all, I have to grasp the basic knowledge from teachers, from textbooks and most importantly, study by myself. Then, I have to apply it a lot to different types of exercises.”
At home, Bich always knows how to arrange her time to study by herself. She always completes the exercises given by her teachers and then compares them with reference materials to find good solutions. In addition to studying, Bich also helps her parents with the farm work.
Not only is she studious and good at studying, in class, Bich is an enthusiastic class monitor loved by teachers and friends.
