Threatening to release clip, blackmailing ex-lover 3 times
Even though they had broken up, Le Van Tieu still texted his ex-girlfriend and threatened to release "sensitive" photos and clips to extort her property.
On November 15, My Tho City Police (Tien Giang Province) detained Le Van Tieu (born in 1992, residing in Minh Thuan Commune, U Minh Thuong District, Kien Giang Province) to investigate the act of "extortion of property".
At the investigation agency, Tieu confessed that he created a Zalo account named "Fe" and sent blackmail messages to his ex-lover. Tieu threatened that if she did not give him money, he wouldupload photos, video of the two people having sex on social networks.

Using this trick, at the end of 2020, Tieu forced his ex-lover to transfer 6 million VND twice. The third time, on the morning of November 13, Tieu texted his ex-lover to transfer 2 million VND.
Tieu agreed to go to his ex-lover’s house in My Tho City to receive the money. At around 10am the same day, Tieu went to receive the money but was stopped by the locals and reported to the police./.
