On the afternoon of September 7th, a delegation from Pasaxon Newspaper, the official mouthpiece of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, led by Deputy Editor-in-Chief Syvanh Homsayadeth, visited and worked with Nghe An Newspaper. Representatives from Nhan Dan Newspaper also attended.
Receiving and working with the delegation, on behalf of Nghe An Newspaper were Comrade Ngo Duc Kien - Secretary of the Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief; the Deputy Editors-in-Chief, and representatives of the leadership of various departments and organizations.
On behalf of the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper, Editor-in-Chief Ngo Duc Kien welcomed Deputy Editor-in-Chief Syvanh Homsayadeth and the delegation from Pasaxon Newspaper, the official mouthpiece of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, on their working visit to Vietnam, and expressed his pleasure that the delegation had the opportunity to visit and work in Nghe An.
This is an opportunity for Vietnamese and Lao press agencies to exchange professional expertise and cooperate closely to develop together, contributing to the dissemination of information about the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
During the meeting, the leaders of Nghe An Newspaper introduced the delegation to the Integrated Newsroom model and some of the outstanding activities of Nghe An Newspaper.
Over the past period, Nghe An Newspaper has continuously innovated its leadership, direction, and management to improve quality and further affirm its leading position in the local Party newspaper system. In the first six months of 2024, the editorial board has strived to continue implementing the task of organizing a converged publishing process across its publications, meeting the requirements of "fast, accurate, correct, engaging - beautifully presented" in print; increasing the attractiveness and convenience, constantly innovating in the online newspaper, and expanding the reach of Nghe An Newspaper information on social media platforms.
During the meeting, representatives from Pasaxon Newspaper had extensive discussions with Nghe An Newspaper regarding organizational and professional matters such as publishing procedures, content distribution on social media platforms, distribution, and advertising.
After listening to some questions from the representatives of Pasaxon Newspaper, the representatives of Nghe An Newspaper shared their experiences in a friendly and responsible manner, thereby engaging in professional exchanges to help both media organizations develop together.
On behalf of the Party Committee and Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper, Comrade Ngo Duc Kien - Secretary of the Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief - expressed his hope that the two agencies will continue to connect and develop together, aiming towards the common goal of fulfilling their assigned tasks in the field of propaganda, contributing to building the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
