The high-ranking Lao delegation wants to invite Vinamilk to invest.

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 5, 2017, as part of their visit and working trip to Vietnam, a high-level delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, led by Comrade Kikeo Khaykhamphithune – Secretary of the Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, and Chairman of the Social Science Council – along with many other senior officials, visited the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) in Ho Chi Minh City.

During the meeting, Ms. Bui Thi Huong, CEO of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), gave a brief overview of Vinamilk and its business operations, including its export activities. She highlighted Laos as a market Vinamilk is particularly interested in and is actively seeking to develop. Following the meeting, the delegation visited Vinamilk's dairy factory in Binh Duong – a facility dubbed "Mega" by dairy industry experts due to its modern scale.

Vinamilk is honored to welcome the delegation from the Lao People's Revolutionary Party to visit and work at the Vietnam Dairy Factory.

Located on a 20-hectare site in My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park, Binh Duong province, the Mega factory is currently Vinamilk's largest liquid milk production plant. The factory has an investment of VND 2,400 billion, with a phase 1 capacity of 1.2 million liters of milk per day, and is currently increasing its capacity for phase 2 to 2.4 million liters per day (equivalent to over 800 million liters per year).

This is one of the world's largest dairy factories, designed to meet stringent standards for quality management, food safety and hygiene, and environmental friendliness. The entire production process adheres to GMP standards and other rigorous international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14000, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000, with GMP being mandatory for pharmaceutical factories and recommended for food companies in general.

In addition to the closed-loop system from raw milk reception, processing, pasteurization, sterilization to product packaging, there are also dozens of autonomous robots specializing in transporting raw materials and finished products; the smart warehouse system, optimized for space and scientifically programmed, is also controlled by robots to quickly import and export goods without the need for human labor.

After visiting and working at the factory, the delegation of senior officials from the Lao People's Revolutionary Party stated that they were very impressed with the scale and modernity of the factory, as well as the level of investment Vinamilk has made in its production and business activities. The delegation was also very pleased to see that Vinamilk has achieved many outstanding accomplishments in Vietnam and around the world during its more than 40 years of development.

With these achievements, the high-ranking delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party believes that Vinamilk will become increasingly successful and a reputable and leading dairy company in the region and the world. The delegation also hopes that Vinamilk will consider seeking further opportunities to expand investment and exports to Laos in order to provide Lao people with more choices of dairy products, as well as contribute to strengthening the friendly cooperative relationship in investment and economic and social development between the two countries.
