The delegation of the Patriotic Emulation Congress among Catholic compatriots in Nghe An laid wreaths and reported their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh.

Attending the wreath-laying ceremony were Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Nghe An; and representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province. The delegation included Father Joseph Tran Xuan Manh - Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee, along with other dignitaries, clergy, and prominent representatives of the Catholic community in Nghe An province.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their profound gratitude for his great ideology, moral example, and life of dedication to the people and the nation.

The delegates observed a minute of silence and reported on their achievements before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, demonstrating the continuation of the patriotic tradition and the spirit of national unity.

Throughout his life, President Ho Chi Minh always paid attention to expanding and nurturing national unity, fostering it between religious and non-religious people, between people of different faiths, between people of different ethnic groups, and between mountainous and lowland regions... making it ever stronger and more enduring.

In particular, Catholic compatriots, as a part of the Vietnamese nation, received profound and timely affection, attention, and encouragement from President Ho Chi Minh, forming a tremendous source of strength that contributed to the overall victory of the nation, for an independent, free, and socialist Vietnam.

Learning from and following the example of President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Nghe An province and its clergy and parishioners have always promoted the spirit of patriotic emulation, spreading the motto of living a good life and upholding moral values; actively responding to major movements and campaigns of the Central and local governments; coordinating the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; and effectively playing the role of a bridge between the government and the Catholic community in preserving, consolidating, and strengthening national unity, contributing to building a more prosperous, civilized, and modern parish and Nghe An province.
