The delegation of National Assembly representatives from Nghe An province met with voters in Tan Ky commune.

On the morning of May 4th, the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province, in coordination with the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Ky commune, organized a meeting with voters following the first session of the 16th National Assembly.

Attending the conference were National Assembly deputies from the province: Ngo Nam Cuong – Major General, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Nguyen Sy Hoi – Major General, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association; Phan Anh Son – Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, along with representatives from provincial departments and agencies.

At the conference, on behalf of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, Mr. Phan Anh Son informed the voters about the results of the first session of the 16th National Assembly; disseminated the laws, resolutions and important issues passed by the National Assembly; and reported on the results of addressing the opinions and recommendations of voters at the session.

Voters in Tan Ky commune expressed joy and excitement at the success of the session; they highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and innovation in the activities of the National Assembly and elected representatives. At the same time, voters submitted 15 opinions and suggestions focusing on several key issues:

Regarding land, resources, and environment: We propose removing obstacles in issuing land use right certificates; resolving land and forest disputes; strengthening the management of resources and minerals; and ensuring environmental sanitation.

Regarding policies and regulations: Focus on providing housing support for people with meritorious service; address issues related to long-term retired officials and part-time officials; propose issuing health insurance cards to veteran association members; and improve and enhance benefits for officials at the block, village, and mass organization levels.

Infrastructure and public investment: This includes accelerating the progress of the Rao - Khe Tray bridge road; upgrading the transportation system; allocating investment capital in a focused and targeted manner; and considering relocating power lines away from households' gardens.

Regarding economic and social issues: Voters desire price stability in the market; increased support for the development of production, livestock farming, and forestry, contributing to raising people's incomes.

Regarding the socio-cultural sector: Focus on preserving and restoring historical relics; invest in the infrastructure of cultural centers in residential areas and hamlets.

During the meeting, representatives from Tan Ky commune and provincial departments and agencies received, explained, and clarified many issues within their jurisdiction.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Sy Hoi acknowledged and addressed several suggestions from voters; he also emphasized that for issues beyond their authority, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will compile a comprehensive report and submit it to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and relevant agencies for timely consideration and resolution, meeting the legitimate aspirations of voters and the people.

On this occasion, the National Assembly deputies from the province presented 10 gifts to poor households and households with difficult circumstances in the commune, each gift consisting of 1 million VND in cash and accompanying gifts.
