Delegation of National Assembly of Nghe An province presents Tet gifts to poor patients, disabled people and orphans
On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation - Spring At Ty 2025, on the afternoon of January 23, 2025 (ie December 24, year of Giap Thin), the delegation of the National Assembly of Nghe An province led by comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly delegation of the province, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province visited, encouraged and gave Tet gifts to poor patients, people with disabilities and orphans at a number of facilities in Vinh city.
Also attending were comrades: Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Tran Nhat Minh - Full-time National Assembly Delegate; and leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At Nghe An Oncology Hospital, National Assembly deputies from Nghe An province’s National Assembly delegation presented 200 gifts to 200 poor patients with especially difficult circumstances being treated at the hospital; each gift was worth 1 million VND in cash and 300,000 VND in kind.

On behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegation, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly delegation, Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee encouraged and shared the economic difficulties and hardships and pain, and the struggle with serious illnesses of the patients.

Affirming that the gifts sent to poor patients and those in especially difficult circumstances at Nghe An Oncology Hospital are the hearts and feelings of sharing from the people in the province and the whole country sent through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the XV National Assembly delegates of Nghe An delegation; Head of the National Assembly delegation, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said: Along with the attention of the whole society, through the program "Nghia dong lam - Xuan At Ty 2025", up to this point, the whole province has mobilized nearly 148 billion VND to care for and support poor, near-poor households and those in especially difficult circumstances in the province.

Particularly for poor patients with difficult circumstances being treated at medical facilities in the province during Tet, every year, from the Fund for the Poor, the province has allocated 4-5 billion VND to provide additional material support, especially expressing the community's sharing sentiments, creating spiritual motivation for patients to fight against the disease.

Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh wished the patients to continue to have good will and spirit to treat the disease - this is a very important factor to push back the disease; at the same time, she hoped that the staff and medical staff of Nghe An Oncology Hospital would improve their sense of responsibility, share more with patients with serious illnesses, create trust for patients to feel secure in effective treatment; at the same time, review and make a list to promptly support poor patients and those in difficult circumstances who are treated during Tet at the hospital.

The National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province visited, encouraged and presented Tet gifts to SOS Children's Village Vinh, including 30 million in cash and 30 cartons of fresh milk.
Over 34 years of operation, SOS Children's Village Vinh has cared for and raised nearly 1,000 orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances; truly a "home" for the children in the Village to grow up.

Happy to see the children in the Village being cared for and having a joyful and happy living environment, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Vo Thi Minh Sinh expressed her wish that the cadres and mothers, aunts and fathers in the Village continue to take good care of the children. For the children, they must always love, unite and live in harmony with their brothers and sisters in the village so that their daily life is filled with laughter and happiness; strive to be good, study well and take control of their own lives when they grow up.

National Assembly deputies from the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province also visited and presented gifts to people with disabilities at the Center for Activities of People with Disabilities in Nghe An province.
On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh expressed her joy and excitement at the examples of people with disabilities who always have the will to overcome life's adversities and physical disabilities to become masters of their lives; many people have found jobs, created income for themselves and many people in similar situations.

Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh wished the disabled and their families a happy, warm, and prosperous New Year and a healthy At Ty New Year, with continued willpower, self-reliance, and self-reliance to rise up in life.
