Provincial National Assembly Delegation meets voters of Tan Ky town

On the afternoon of September 28, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation had a meeting with voters in Tan Ky town, Tan Ky district before the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly.
The National Assembly delegation from constituency No. 2 included Mr. Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee. Also attending were representatives of the leaders of Tan Ky district, Tan Ky town and a large number of voters.

At the conference, delegate Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security informed voters about the expected content of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly, taking place from October 23 to November 29, 2023; the results of the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province from the 5th session to present.
Accordingly, the National Assembly will pass 9 draft laws, 2 draft resolutions, and give opinions on 8 other draft laws; at the same time, consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the State budget and supervise other important issues.

With a democratic and straightforward spirit, voters of Tan Ky town sent many opinions to the National Assembly delegates. Voter Ho Trong Quynh (Block 2, Tan Ky town) proposed that more attention should be paid to the deputy positions in the block and hamlet. This is not one of the three positions of full-time workers who receive monthly allowances, however, they are the ones who directly participate in the work of the block and hamlet, so voters suggested that policies should be studied to support this group.

Regarding infrastructure, voter Tran Khac Lien (Block 6, Tan Ky town) reflected that the traffic system in the town has not developed fast enough compared to the needs of the people. In addition, voters said that the urban lighting system is still poor, suggesting that the district and Tan Ky town need to pay more attention to this issue.

Voter Vu Thi Thanh (Block 1, Tan Ky town) also reflected on some land issues. Accordingly, she is one of 17 households in Block 1, Tan Ky town bordering Giang Son commune (Do Luong) that have not been granted a Land Use Rights Certificate, because it has not been determined whether this land belongs to Do Luong district or Tan Ky district. Voters request that this issue be resolved soon to ensure the rights of the people.
In addition, voters also proposed a number of issues regarding subsidy regimes for the elderly, poor households, near-poor households, and families with revolutionary contributions.

At the conference, comrade Phan Van Giap - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Ky district and representatives of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs answered a number of issues within their authority that voters reflected.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegates, delegate Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee acknowledged the voters' reflections and recommendations, then forwarded them to competent authorities and branches for research and resolution.
