These days, coming to Anh Son district, it is not difficult to see the positive changes of this mountainous district. One of the things that is easily seen in the commune is that the transportation system is constantly being expanded and improved; in addition to the investment and upgrading of the province and district, thanks to the joint efforts and solidarity of the people, many inter-village and inter-commune roads have been concreted.

Visiting village 3, Tuong Son commune, witnessing the working atmosphere of the people to complete the welcome gate and upgrade the drainage system of the village in time for the 77th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

Mr. Dang Van Son - Party Cell Secretary and Head of Village 3, Tuong Son Commune excitedly said: The project of pouring concrete to cover the drainage system on both sides of the 700m long main road to widen the road and ensure environmental sanitation and the village's welcome gate is a project responding to the movement "For the beloved homeland Anh Son" launched by the district... The two projects with a total cost of more than 750 million VND are from the mobilized contributions of "philanthropists", businesses, children far from home and the people. In the past 2 years, Village 3 has mobilized people to contribute more than 1.3 billion VND to build a clean and beautiful football field and cultural house infrastructure system. These results in a mountainous locality where the majority of people are farmers and still face many difficulties have demonstrated the strength of the people's spirit of solidarity and unanimity.

Like the people of village 3, Tuong Son commune, the people of localities in Anh Son district always believe in the leadership of the Party, the government and the support of organizations and unions. Every movement launched by all levels and sectors has been actively participated by the people; especially in economic development to increase income, improve life, and contribute to building new rural areas. Typically, Tam Son commune has mobilized people to build green parks and 8km long lighting lines; the people of Dinh Son commune have built welcome gates and football fields for hamlets; village 4, Tuong Son commune has cut mountains to build cultural houses; many lighting lines and flower roads have been formed, etc. And the important thing is that the Party committees, government and unions have aroused the aspiration to build their homeland for all classes of people with socio-economic development orientations along with investment in key programs and projects of the State.

Especially in recent years, the authorities at all levels in Anh Son district have connected and gathered to attract children far from home to return to their homeland through practical actions. That spirit of solidarity is also demonstrated through joining hands, helping each other, encouraging and assisting poor households and families in difficult circumstances to rise up in life... All unite and join hands to build a homeland that changes day by day, especially the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved.

Peace was restored, and people joined hands to heal the wounds of war. Many emulation movements emerged, typically leaving a strong mark in history such as: "Campaign to capture the sun" which created dams to irrigate more fertile fields such as: Cho Xa (Duc Son commune); Khe Chung (Tao Son commune); Ruong Xoi (Vinh Son commune)...

Recently, Anh Son district has joined the movement of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Up to now, the whole district has 14/21 communes and towns recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as new rural communes. The rural appearance of Anh Son district has made many commendable advances; infrastructure has been built at a rapid pace such as: electricity, roads, bridges, schools, medical stations, production and business establishments, cultural works, spiritual works, etc.

The emulation movement "green, clean, beautiful, bright, friendly" is actively contributing to the success of implementing the Resolution of the 21st Anh Son District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

In order to preserve and promote the fine traditional values ​​of the homeland, Anh Son district launched an emulation movement to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the name Anh Son (1822 - 2022); 60 years of the separation of Anh Son district (1963 - 2023) with the theme "All for the rich and beautiful homeland of Anh Son".

The movement has three main tasks: First, all administrative agencies, schools, organizations, businesses, and people must complete and exceed the set targets and plans. Second, build works to put up welcome signs with the people's strength, with the resources of the people and children living far from home. Third, is to reform administrative reform, innovation, digital transformation, innovate working style and manners, handle administrative procedures, implement public service reform, and conduct culture.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Sang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee shared: The implementation of the emulation movement on this occasion aims to create a truly exciting climax to create a transformation to build Anh Son district into a bright spot among mountainous districts. And to become a bright spot, there must be a push, an impulse, a breakthrough. To create a push, a new impulse for Anh Son to develop, it is clear that it is necessary to create an impulse among the people, mobilize the people's resources.

It is worth noting that the movement has received high response from cadres, party members and people. A clear proof is that after just over 4 months of launching, up to now there have been 150 projects registered with a total amount of over 85 billion VND, the plan is 60-70 projects with a budget of about 30-35 billion VND, entirely by people's resources.

“Anh Son district has set a goal that by mid-2023, many constructions will be built in the district to make Anh Son district brighter, more beautiful, and friendlier thanks to the people's strength. At the same time, launching this movement is to prove that Anh Son people have crystallized strength from generation to generation; Anh Son people have crystallized the spirit of solidarity of children who leave their farms but do not leave their homeland. This also has a profound meaning of contributing to educating the younger generation to be proud of the traditions of the land, people, and homeland.
