Youth union builds houses for poor, elderly people living alone.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Youth Union of Thach Ngan commune (Con Cuong district) recently mobilized its members to build a house for Mr. Vi Van Duong's family in Ba Ha village, a poor and elderly household.

Mr. Vi Van Duong's family is classified as a poor, single-parent household; both he and his wife are elderly and unable to work, relying on monthly government assistance. Given this situation, with a 20 million VND grant from the District Fatherland Front Committee, the Thach Ngan Commune Youth Union mobilized young people in Ba Ha village to contribute dozens of days of labor transporting materials and completing a two-room tiled house for Mr. Duong's family.

Despite being a remote and disadvantaged commune, the youth union members of Thach Ngan commune have carried out many activities in recent years that reflect the spirit of solidarity and initiative.
