(Baonghean.vn) - A single rice tree is home to 13 beehives, living together peacefully. This rice tree belongs to the family of Mr. Pham Van Khoa, residing in Hamlet 4, Thanh Son Commune (Anh Son District).

Mr. Khoa said that last year, two bee colonies built their nests on this rice tree. And from July 2015 until now, in just four months, the tree has welcomed 11 new bee colonies. On average, two new colonies appear on this rice tree every month. What's quite special is that, despite the many trees surrounding it, the bees only gather at Mr. Khoa's rice tree.

In 2014, the rice plant only had two beehives, but from July 2015 to the present, it has welcomed 11 new beehives.

According to observations, among the 13 beehives, the largest one measured over 1.2 meters in length and over 0.5 meters in width; the smallest was nearly 0.6 meters long and 0.3 meters wide. And according to Mr. Khoa's assessment, the number of beehives is likely to continue increasing in the future.
