The unique mural-lined road of a new rural commune in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - On an old, dilapidated fence, the youth of Nghia Dong commune, Tan Ky district (Nghe An province) have painted a vibrant mural, contributing to beautifying the new rural landscape of the area.
With creative ideas and a commitment to a green, clean, and beautiful environment, amateur artists quickly transformed the old, dilapidated fence of the Health Station along Nghia Dong commune into stunning murals.

Under the skillful brushstrokes of talented hands, a mural-lined road with impressive and vibrant colors gradually emerges. Nguyen Viet Tien, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hamlet 4A, Nghia Dong Commune, Tan Ky District, said: “Each painting has a different theme, through which we want to convey a message to everyone, especially every youth union member, to raise awareness in building our homeland; and to stay away from social evils such as drugs, prostitution, gambling, etc.”
The paintings depicting rural landscapes, happy families, the renewed and prosperous appearance of the countryside thanks to the new rural development program, and the harmful effects of drug abuse, etc., displayed on the concrete walls along the road, have brought joy to the local people.

This meaningful initiative by the youth of Nghia Dong commune has received widespread support from the people, the Party committee, and the local government; the commune's People's Committee provided funding for materials, and the youth union members actively and voluntarily contributed their labor.
Speaking about the idea of creating a mural street, Mr. Tran Ngoc Duc - Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghia Dong commune, Tan Ky district, said:""For the sake of a clean and green environment, the Youth Union of the commune advised the People's Committee of the commune to implement a mural project on the very road that the youth are responsible for maintaining... In the future, we will continue to expand such mural projects at central locations in the commune, cultural centers, and schools to contribute to building a model new rural commune."
