Unique safe food market to welcome Spring 2018
(Baonghean.vn) - The first-ever safe food market celebrating the Lunar New Year 2018, held at the Ben Thuy ward stadium (Vinh City), attracted the attention of many women in the area.
With the aim of promoting the use of safe and hygienic food products among women in Vinh City, the Women's Association of Ben Thuy Ward organized the "Safe Food Market to Welcome Spring 2018" for its ward branches.

The market consists of 15 stalls.There are 15 women's associations in Ben Thuy ward. The main items sold are specialties from the highlands, including vegetables, fruits, eggs, meat, etc., from districts such as Tuong Duong, Quy Chau, and Quy Hop...
Besides fresh produce, they also sell incense, dried food, and many other food items made by the members themselves, ensuring the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

In particular, the market not only brings clean food to housewives but also raises funds for the Women's Union's charity to help members in difficult circumstances in Ben Thuy ward.
Ms. Hue, Head of Branch 15 in Ben Thuy Ward, shared: "Previously, we also organized fundraising to help disadvantaged members by collecting donations in piggy banks, allocating funds from the branch, etc., but this year, after deliberation, the Association decided to organize a safe food market, which is both novel and very meaningful."
