“Nghe quality”, because the lucky money envelopes are printed with sharp sketches of 10 architectural works, cultural beauty, and cuisine of Nghe An, and also because this is a meaningful artistic creation project and a part of the revenue is transferred to the charity fund of SOS Children's Villages Vietnam. The project was carried out by Tran Hoang Kim (born in 1993) - who was introduced by Nghe An Newspaper in the article “Sketching Vinh city with love for the city”.

In recent days, many young people in Nghe An have been continuously sharing photos of special lucky money envelopes, bought from Tran Hoang Kim's art studio, along with expressions of excitement. In the comments section, everyone is excitedly asking where to buy them, asking for help, expressing their desire to own a product with a strong "Nghe" character for Tet.

Tran Hoang Kim said that those responses made him very happy. After leaving Hanoi to return to Nghe An to start a career for more than a year, Kim's life has gradually improved: working as an architect in his field of study; participating in meaningful cultural activities organized by Nghe An Museum and the Department of Culture and Sports; owning a painting studio with hundreds of students; building an art-loving group with more than 1,000 members; dozens of outdoor painting sessions with people with the same passion... In the art community in Vinh City in particular and Nghe An in general, Tran Hoang Kim has gained some "fame", is loved for his sincerity and passion in preserving and developing his homeland's culture.

Witnessing Kim's first steps in establishing his career in Vinh city, I clearly felt his efforts, dedication and commendable initial successes. But for him, that was still not enough. After everything was temporarily on track, Kim wanted to spend time on meaningful volunteer activities.

Born and raised in the sunny and windy countryside of Thanh Chuong, witnessing many poor, orphaned children in difficult circumstances, Tran Hoang Kim passionately wanted to contribute to improving their lives. Kim thought that this long-term desire must start with small, concrete things within one's capacity.

The Tet lucky money envelope project is imbued with Nghe An culture, with part of the revenue raised to charity for SOS Children's Villages Vietnam, starting from that good idea.

The project was implemented in a short time because the core was the basic design from Kim's existing sketches. Among hundreds of sketches about Vinh citadel and Nghe An, Kim Tinh chose 10 with bold architectural, cultural and culinary symbols: Con Temple, Hong Son Temple, Diec Pagoda, Vinh Citadel Gate, Emperor Quang Trung Temple, Vinh Market, Quang Trung Old Residential Area, Nghe An Provincial Post Office, Vinh sticky rice, grilled corn.

“I chose these sketches because these are places that evoke many historical and cultural memories, leaving a deep impression on each person’s childhood. Sacred destinations, familiar places, dishes imbued with the taste of the city, the taste of the homeland… have themselves become a special “Nghe quality”. Those who travel far away will feel this most!” - Tran Hoang Kim shared.

Kim collaborated with a printing workshop to print the sketches onto red envelopes. Although the products are sold with the aim of sharing a portion of the revenue to charity, the producers are not lenient in choosing materials and colors.

Holding in hand a set of red envelopes printed with 10 sharp images, very artistic, easy to sympathize with bright strokes, delicate color combinations, harmonious and youthful design. Familiar places and dishes are very dear and beloved, the envelopes sent to anyone are suitable, also creating sympathy.

Kim expressed that the purpose of printing sketches of Nghe An architecture and cuisine on lucky money envelopes is to spread the image of his hometown to friends near and far. He hopes that the small lucky money envelopes will "travel" everywhere, to the South, to the North, even abroad, so that from there, Nghe An will be known to many people, curious to find out more information and urged to travel to explore further.

It is known that Tran Hoang Kim printed 5,000 lucky money envelopes and sold them out after just over a week of promotion. At the point of sale on Vinh City's walking street, customers who buy the envelopes will directly transfer money to the bank account of the SOS Children's Villages Vietnam Charity Fund. The meaningful gift that Kim gave to the children of the Children's Village expressed his wish that in the future he will carry out many other meaningful projects, to light up the journey of preserving culture and continuing his charity work.
