The Lonely Path episode 36 final episode: Unfinished ending, expected to have part 2
Doc Dao has ended its journey on VTV and left viewers with many emotions. The project has been revealed to have a part 2.
At the beginning of episode 36, which is also the last episode of Doc Dao, Long called someone to defuse the bomb in Hong's car. The bomb in the trunk was removed first, but this process was extremely difficult because the bomb was installed very complicatedly.

The old man informed Mr. Chuong that the goods would arrive at their destination by this time tomorrow. Quan prepared to leave, but first, he had to make sure everything was running smoothly. Then, Quan called Mr. Cu again.

When time was almost up, and old Cu was almost at the meeting place, Hong urged Long and the bomb disposal man to quickly get out of the car. Hong said: "It's enough if one person dies, don't die together." However, Long did not give up, still determined to help.
At the same time, old Cu saw a person coming on a motorbike and realized that the situation was not good. He quickly shouted: "Withdraw!" but at that moment, the police arrived and arrested everyone. The police asked old Cu to immediately call old Quan to ask for the bomb defuse code.

Hong headed straight to a large cave where the old man was hiding. Both Long, the bomb disposal man, and Hong received the bomb disposal code 9002 in the last 30 seconds. Hong closed her eyes, preparing to accept death as the bomb wrapped around her. However, luckily, the bomb was deactivated right before the old man pressed the activation button.
At this moment, the police dispatched combat vehicles. Realizing the dangerous situation, Old Quan quickly escaped from the cave.

Knowing that the bomb had been defused, Hong took the bomb off his body and ran to find his younger brother. When Hong met Khuong, before he could say anything, Khuong pushed him away. Hong closed his eyes, ready for Khuong to attack, but Khuong could not do it. He declared: "From now on, we are no longer brothers." Khuong threw the knife on the ground and left.

Hong took the knife and ran to find old Quan. In Quan's room, Hong discovered a secret exit, and he immediately followed it. When Quan stopped to call his juniors "Pick me up", Hong was able to catch up. Quan immediately drew his sword and while attacking, he persuaded Hong: "Think again, we can make a deal, negotiate."
While Hong and Quan were fighting, Tien, a sniper from afar, shot Hong in the shoulder. Knowing that he was about to die at the hands of old Quan, Hong asked one last question: "Why did you kill my father?" Old Quan frankly replied: "Le Toan only ordered me to teach your father a few sentences, but I not only killed your father but also killed a few more people. I had to do that so that I could be free and escape from Le Toan. I was tired of being under his command."

The old man admitted: "I killed your father, and it should have been you and your brother too."
At that moment, Quan raised his sword, intending to attack Hong: "I'll take you back to your two fathers." But Long managed to shoot Quan first.

Meanwhile, Tien was aiming at Long when K3 and his teammates stopped him in time.
Long declared: "The game is over!"

Before the final battle, Phung proactively admitted to Long about the diamonds that the old man had bribed him with. He said:
"If you are the person sent by the province to investigate who is backing the old Quan, you can handcuff me right now."
However, Long wanted to hear the whole story from Phung, his old classmate.

Phung began to tell: It all started when Tram, his wife, fell ill. At that time, he was forced to sell the house to get money for her treatment. Someone asked to buy the house, and that person turned out to be Quan Gia's man. His wife's surgery was successful but she needed money to continue her treatment. Phung put the house up for sale again, but this time no one dared to buy. It was then that he realized he had fallen under their control.
Since then, he has fallen into mistakes. Phung bitterly said that he joined the police force with the ideal of protecting the peace of life and people. But now, he has betrayed that ideal. Later, even if he wanted to leave, he could not.
Since Phung confessed everything, Long suggested to the leaders to use him for the next step of the project. Long felt regretful because Phung was a good and promising police officer.

At the agency headquarters, Phung pledged to declare all his actions, without hiding anything. When the case was solved, he sadly confessed:
"My wife just recovered, and yet..."
Phung felt guilty towards his wife. Long encouraged her and promised:
"My teammates and I will take care of your wife and children together."
In this whole affair, Phung was wrong but also had some things right. The right things will be recognized, and the wrong things will be punished by law. Phung understood that very well, but the thing he regretted the most was:
"It's just that I lost my honor."
As a cadre who used to be capable and proud of his profession, he felt disappointed in himself. Long nodded and replied:
"Yes, honor is the most sacred thing!"
Hong returned home, and immediately, Tuyet expressed anger that Khuong had to "go away" for several years. She said:
"Why don't you go and let Mr. Khuong go?"

Tuyet thought that in the case of Duong Co Bo being pushed off the cliff, Khuong had taken all the blame. She blamed Hong, thinking that he had rushed into hatred and deceived his family. Tuyet continued to blame Hong a lot, but he did not say a word.
After the case, Hong returned home, but both Tuyet and Mrs. Moc blamed him. They both received a clip from Quan Gia, recording the moment Hong and Mr. Le Toan talked to each other, especially the moment Mr. Toan had difficulty breathing but Hong did not immediately get him an inhaler.
Mrs. Moc spoke up:
"I can't believe it's true."
Her words left Hong unable to explain. She continued:
"No one would dare blame you. You are the son of the person who was killed years ago. You are already very generous in doing so."
Although the words did not seem resentful, they made both Mrs. Moc and Hong feel heartbroken.

Hong went upstairs to see Mrs. Moc. She addressed Hong as "I and you" and thanked him, but her voice was full of resentment:
"My family thanks you."
She continued to blame:
"He trusted and entrusted this whole family to you. I consider you as my son. I trust you, this family trusts you, and yet..."
Both Mrs. Moc and Hong were in tears. Hong really had a hard time explaining anything at this moment, he knelt down and said to Mrs. Moc:
"Goodbye, u."

Then, Hong quietly left, leaving Mrs. Moc in pain and heartache.
Mrs. Moc and Tuyet visited Khuong. She informed Khuong that after investigation, Muscle Yang did not die after being pushed off the cliff by Khuong, but Khuong still had to take responsibility for what he had done.
Tuyet then informed Khuong that she was pregnant, and that Khuong was going to be a father. Khuong, who was an emotional person, could not hold back his emotions and burst into tears.

Mrs. Moc gave Khuong the box that Mr. Trinh had told her to give to Khuong personally. Inside the box was a broken pipe and a note from Hong:
"You are worthy of being my son, you know!"
Khuong was in excruciating pain. He tried to swallow his tears but couldn't.

One of the most touching and tear-jerking scenes in episode 36, which is also the last episode of Doc Dao, is the scene where Hong writes a letter to Thanh, her younger brother, to tell him everything. While writing the letter, Hong could not hold back her tears. He told her about the story of the two brothers getting separated when Thanh was still very young, and memories of his childhood suddenly came flooding back, making Thanh unable to stop crying.

In the letter, Hong wrote that he was extremely happy to finally find his brother, because for many years, he had sworn to his father that he would find his brother. He wrote:
"Seeing you live an honest life, without fear, without hiding, without having to deal with - a life I had never experienced. At that time, I thought I should not disturb this peace of yours, whether in the name of pain, love or blood."
Hong admitted that since deciding to seek the truth, he has let hatred and revenge take over his life. He knows that to get revenge, he must be willing to pay the price, no matter how high that price is.
At the end of the letter, Hong hopes that whether the two brothers meet again or not, Thanh will still live a leisurely life, living fully with the sadness, joy, and happiness of a free and kind person. He wrote:
"Live your part too."
And that was the emotional end of the letter.

After all, Hong returned to the countryside to meet Diem. However, he was suddenly attacked by Tan "khec" and stabbed, causing Hong to collapse right at Diem's gate. In the critical moment, Hong wondered if at that time he had accepted the pain, let go of hatred and believed that God had eyes, then perhaps his life would have been different. He wished for his own happiness, a day when his brothers could reunite, but instead of choosing the path of living under the sun, he chose to go the lonely path. Hong thought:

"People like me, can lie down at any time."
Hong continued to think:
"My biggest regret is still the pain of losing my freedom and kindness. Forever alone in the dark."
And then, Hong collapsed in Diem's arms.
Fortunately, Hong received timely emergency care, overcame the crisis and survived. After stabbing Hong, Tan "khec" was sentenced to 36 months in prison. In addition, he also had to pay hospital fees and compensate Le Vu Hong.
