Innovating theory and leadership style in the practical work of Party building.
On the afternoon of November 21st, the Nghe An Provincial Political School organized a scientific seminar with the theme: "Understanding and applying the Party's viewpoints on renewing theoretical thinking and leadership style from the 6th National Congress (1986) to the practical work of Party building in the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee today."
The workshop was attended by representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, Propaganda Department, and Mass Mobilization Department.

The Sixth National Congress of the Party (December 1986) determined that comprehensive reform was necessary to strengthen the Party's fighting capacity and leadership ability, first and foremost through reforming thinking (especially economic thinking), while simultaneously reforming the organization, the cadre, and the leadership and work style.

Through successive Party Congresses since 1986, our Party has identified the need to build a truly clean, strong, and comprehensive Party in all aspects: political, ideological, moral, organizational, and personnel; to enhance the Party's leadership capacity, governing ability, and fighting strength in the new context. The Party's leadership style and methods have also been continuously reformed towards a more scientific, democratic, and practical approach. All of this aims to enhance the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength, making our Party truly "moral and civilized," and firmly consolidating the people's trust in the Party.
In this context, for the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, the thorough understanding and application of the Party's views on renewing theoretical thinking and leadership style from the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is of even greater direct and practical significance.

Over nearly 40 years of implementing the Doi Moi (Renovation) policy in Nghe An province, along with the development of the province's socio-economic life, national defense, and security, the Party Committee has been built to be increasingly clean, strong, and comprehensive, meeting the requirements of its tasks.
Currently, the Provincial Party Committee is actively implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, with many important and breakthrough goals, tasks, and solutions. Facing new demands, with intertwined opportunities and challenges, the Provincial Party Committee must continue to strongly innovate its leadership methods and enhance its governing capacity to successfully lead the implementation of the tasks set forth in the new period.

The scientific seminar, themed "Understanding and Applying the Party's Theoretical Thinking and Leadership Style Renewal from the 6th National Congress (1986) to the Practical Work of Party Building in Nghe An Province," aims to contribute to the research and summation of nearly 40 years of implementing the Party's Theoretical Thinking and Leadership Style Renewal policy; and to discuss and propose tasks and solutions for understanding and applying these principles to practical Party building work, contributing to enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee in the new context.
At the seminar, delegates discussed and clarified the immense historical significance and value of the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1986) for the country's Doi Moi (Renovation) process and the Party building work of our Party in general; assessed the development of the Party's thinking, theoretical understanding, and leadership style on Party building and rectification over nearly 40 years of Doi Moi; and drew lessons for the present. They also proposed tasks and solutions to effectively implement and apply the new perspective on theoretical thinking and leadership style to the practical Party building work of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Beyond its scientific value, the conference also contributed to strengthening faith, fostering ideals, and inspiring a sense of responsibility and a desire to contribute among each cadre, Party member, and each agency and unit in the cause of building a clean and strong Party, meeting the requirements of the new era.
