Couple uses stolen motorbike to commit series of robberies
Using a stolen motorbike, the couple drove on many streets in the city to snatch property.
On March 19, Hue City Police (Thua Thien Hue) announced that they had arrested Truong Ngoc Quoc Bao (36 years old) and Pham Thi Yen Nhi (21 years old, both residing in Thuan Thanh ward, Hue city) for robbery and theft.

A week ago, this couple snatched a girl’s handbag on Ba Trieu Street, inside was an iPhone 7Plus. On the same day, Bao rode a motorbike with Nhi to snatch a person’s handbag on Hai Ba Trung Street, inside was a laptop. However, the soldier fell off his motorbike and left the bag behind to escape.
In addition to the two robberies above, the couple confessed to committing many thefts in Hue City and neighboring districts and towns, stealing two motorbikes and many cell phones. The two used the stolen motorbikes to commit robberies on the street.
Bao and Nhi are currently addicted to drugs.
