In the first round, the Hoang Mai Town Youth Team tied with the Yen Thanh District Youth Team with a score of 3-3. The Cua Lo Town Youth Team lost to the Do Luong District Youth Team with a score of 0-5.

In the 33rd minute of the match, a defender of the Hoang Mai Town Youth Team fouled a striker of the Cua Lo Youth Team in the penalty area and received a yellow card. Faced with a penalty, the goalkeeper of the Hoang Mai Town Youth Team reacted brilliantly, denying the opposing team a goal.

In the end, Hoang Mai Town Youth Team won against Cua Lo Town Youth Team with a score of 2-0.
