SLNA youth team plays friendly match with Korean students

In the friendly match this afternoon (July 22) against Konkuk University (Korea) - a university specializing in football training in Korea, U21 SLNA with the addition of Nguyen Phu Nguyen from the first team played quite confidently.
In the first half, SLNA's second team drew 1-1 with their opponent thanks to Ho Phuc Tinh's goal on the penalty spot. In the second half, 10 new SLNA U21 players were sent onto the field to test themselves after a day of training. Nguyen Phu Nguyen and Tran Dinh Tien took turns scoring, bringing the match to a 3-3 draw.

After winning the bronze medal at the 2017 National U21 Finals, this year Song Lam Nghe An Club hosted the qualifying round of region 1, including 4 teams: Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Song Lam Nghe An.
The U21 players participating in this year's tournament are from 16 to 21 years old (born from January 1, 1997 to December 31, 2002). Therefore, no player from SLNA's first team will be promoted to SLNA's U21 team.
The qualifying round of the National U21 Football Tournament this year will take place from August 5 to August 11, 2018. The final round will take place from November 7 to November 17, 2018 at Tu Do Stadium - Hue City.
