Man arrested for stabbing two people (one dead and one injured) after karaoke session.

On the evening of November 18th, the Thu Duc City Police, Ho Chi Minh City, announced that they had arrested Nguyen Van Quang (born in 1993, from Nghe An province) and were compiling the case file to transfer it to the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency for handling the crime of "murder" according to their jurisdiction.

The task force is examining the crime scene of the murder.

Quang is the person who fatally stabbed PVH and seriously injured PTD (both born in 1998, from Quang Binh province), who is currently receiving emergency treatment at Cho Ray Hospital on the evening of November 17th.

Initially, Quang admitted to stabbing H and D. According to his statement, on the evening of November 17th, Quang, along with H, D, and several other people from the boarding house in alley 131, street number 6, Linh Xuan ward, Thu Duc city, held a drinking party.

After getting drunk, the group decided to continue their activities by going to a karaoke bar in Di An City, Binh Duong Province. While eating, drinking, and singing, a conflict arose between Quang and Mr. H and Mr. D. With the intervention of others at the karaoke bar, the group paid their bill and left.

Still seething with anger, Quang returned to his rented room on his motorbike, searched for a knife, and ran out into the alley to intercept H and D. When he saw H and D riding their motorbike into the alley, Quang attacked them with the weapon, causing D to fall to the ground unconscious. H, clutching his wound, managed to ride his motorbike for about 200 meters before collapsing.

When people discovered the incident and went to check, they found that Mr. H had died and Mr. D was seriously injured, so they took him to the hospital for emergency treatment.
