The Vietnamese national team defeated Nam Dinh Club in a training match.
The Vietnamese national team won against Nam Dinh Club in a training match this afternoon.
On the afternoon of October 9th, the Vietnamese national team held an internal training match against Nam Dinh FC. This was a very useful test for the Vietnamese team in preparation for the international friendly match against India on October 12th at Thien Truong Stadium (Nam Dinh), thus continuing their preparation for the Southeast Asian Championship at the end of the year.

Given the nature of a training match aimed at testing personnel and playing style, both teams used two different lineups for each half. Nam Dinh played the first half with their AFC Champions League Two lineup, consisting entirely of foreign players, and the second half with their V.League lineup, including three foreign players.

In this match, Thai Son opened the scoring for the Vietnamese national team with a 1-0 lead before Mota and Lucas scored to give Nam Dinh a 2-1 lead in the first half. In the second half, Bui Vi Hao impressed with a brace against the reigning V.League champions, sealing a 3-2 victory.

Tomorrow afternoon (October 10th), the Vietnamese national team will have their final training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center before traveling to Nam Dinh on the morning of October 11th. In Nam Dinh, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will have a training session to familiarize themselves with Thien Truong Stadium that afternoon, completing their preparations for hosting India during the FIFA Days in October.
The match between the Vietnamese and Indian national teams will take place at 6:00 PM on October 12th at Thien Truong Stadium.
