The Vietnamese national team has just marked a historic milestone by officially returning to the top 100 in the FIFA rankings for March. With a jump of 9 places, from 108th to 99th, the "Golden Star Warriors" have become the fastest-rising team in the world this past month.

Admiration from the South Korean media

The prestigious South Korean newspaper Daum has lavished praise on coach Kim Sang Sik's achievement. According to Daum's analysis, this is the result of a sustained revival. In less than a year, the South Korean strategist has steered Vietnamese football from its 119th position (October 2024) to a rapid climb of 20 places, placing it among the top 100 teams in the world.
