Thanh Chuong receives the Provincial-level Historical Monument Certificate.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 5th, the People's Committee of Thanh Tuong commune, Thanh Chuong district, held a ceremony to receive the Certificate recognizing the Nguyen Gia family's ancestral church as a Historical Monument. Representatives from provincial-level departments and agencies attended the ceremony.

The Nguyen Gia ancestral temple in Hamlet 5, Thanh Tuong Commune, is a majestic and imposing spiritual architectural structure; it still preserves many ancient artifacts, such as large inscriptions, family genealogies, royal decrees, couplets, wooden plaques, altars, etc.
During the resistance war, the Nguyen Gia family church served as a local literacy center, a printing office for the Provincial Party Committee, and a military equipment and medical depot for the army. It was even awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers.

The Nguyen Gia family church in Thanh Tuong commune has been recognized as a provincial-level historical relic by the People's Committee of Nghe An province according to Decision No. 6424/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2017.
This is an affirmation and recognition by the State of the contributions of many generations of the Nguyen Gia family, as well as the values being preserved here, aiming to honor and express gratitude to our ancestors, and at the same time establish a legal basis for the long-term preservation and promotion of the historical site's value.
