Tam Hop Border Guard Station intensifies border patrols ahead of the 2026 New Year.

On December 27th and 28th, ahead of the 2026 New Year, Tam Hop Border Guard Station (under the Command of the Border Guard Force of Nghe An province) coordinated with the militia force of Tam Thai commune to conduct comprehensive patrols along the border and boundary markers to strengthen management and firmly protect national sovereignty and border security.

Accordingly, the patrol force, comprising officers and soldiers of the Tam Hop Border Guard Station and local militia, conducted patrols along key border routes, inspected the condition of the national border marker system, and promptly detected and prevented violations of border regulations. The mission was carried out meticulously, according to plan, and ensured absolute safety for personnel and equipment.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Hanh, Deputy Political Officer of Tam Hop Border Guard Station and commander of the patrol force, emphasized: “The coordinated and comprehensive patrol between the Border Guard and the commune militia is of great importance, especially at the end of the year when the demand for border crossings increases. This activity contributes to maintaining security and order in the border area, and enhances the awareness and responsibility of local authorities and people in the cause of protecting territorial sovereignty.”

On this occasion, the patrol team of Tam Hop Border Guard Station visited, presented gifts, and exchanged information with Border Guard Company 251 (Military Command of Bolikhamsai Province, Laos). In addition, Tam Hop Border Guard Station organized a visit and presented gifts to Xenh Ly, a Lao student being sponsored by the unit under the "Helping Children Go to School" program in Hom Cha Lon village, Vieng Thong district, Bolikhamsai province. The gifts demonstrate the affection, responsibility, and long-term support of Vietnamese Border Guard officers and soldiers for disadvantaged students in border areas.

Through border patrol and diplomatic activities, solidarity and close ties between the border protection forces of both sides continue to be strengthened and developed, contributing to building a peaceful, stable, and sustainably developing border.
