Receiving and burying martyrs' remains in the motherland of Quynh Luu
On the afternoon of November 27, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Dien commune, Quynh Luu district, together with the martyr's family members, solemnly held a ceremony to receive and bury the remains of martyr Nguyen Van Phung at the commune's martyr cemetery. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Association for Supporting Martyrs' Families of Nghe An province.

Martyr Nguyen Van Phung was born in 1953 in Hamlet 4, Quynh Dien Commune, Quynh Luu District. In January 1971, comrade Nguyen Van Phung volunteered to join the army and fight against American imperialism.
While on duty, he heroically sacrificed his life in 1972 at the C3D7KB Brigade in Long An province. His remains were gathered by his comrades and buried at the Long An Province Martyrs' Cemetery.

During the ceremony to receive the martyrs' remains, the delegates respectfully bowed and offered incense and flowers to the spirit of martyr Nguyen Van Phung - an outstanding son of the homeland who devoted his youth to the Fatherland; and at the same time expressed their infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs' families and those who have contributed to the country.
