Receiving and burying the remains of fallen soldiers back in their homeland of Quỳnh Lưu.
On the afternoon of November 27th, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Dien commune, Quynh Luu district, along with the family of the fallen soldier, solemnly organized a ceremony to receive and bury the remains of fallen soldier Nguyen Van Phung at the commune's Martyrs' Cemetery. Leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Fallen Soldiers attended the ceremony.

Martyr Nguyen Van Phung was born in 1953 in Hamlet 4, Quynh Dien Commune, Quynh Luu District. In January 1971, Comrade Nguyen Van Phung volunteered to join the army and participate in the fight against the American imperialists.
While on duty, he bravely sacrificed his life in 1972 at Brigade C3D7KB in Long An province. His remains were recovered by his comrades and buried at the Long An Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery.

During the ceremony to receive the remains of the fallen soldier, the delegates respectfully bowed their heads and offered incense and flowers before the spirit of martyr Nguyen Van Phung - an outstanding son of the homeland who dedicated his youth to the Fatherland; at the same time, they expressed their boundless gratitude to the heroic martyrs, the heroic Vietnamese mothers, the wounded and sick soldiers, the families of the martyrs, and those who have contributed to the nation.
