What services are parking lot service businesses allowed to provide?

Article 73The 2024 Road Traffic Law stipulates the following:parking servicesas follows:

1. Parking service businesses are established in accordance with the laws on enterprises and the laws on cooperatives.

2. Parking service businesses are permitted to provide the following services:

a) Guarding and safekeeping of road vehicles;

b) Maintenance and repair of road vehicles;

c) Providing fuel and energy for road transport vehicles;

d) Other services as prescribed by law.

3. The parking service provider has the following rights and obligations:

a) Ensuring security, order, environmental hygiene, and fire and explosion prevention at the parking lot;

b) Publicly display the regulations and service prices at the parking lot, along with the name and telephone number of the competent state management agency so that vehicle owners can provide feedback or file complaints when necessary;

c) Compensation for damages if loss or damage occurs to road vehicles under their care;

d) Collecting fees for parking road vehicles;

d) Vehicle owners engaged in transportation business are not allowed to use parking lots to pick up or drop off passengers, or to load, unload, pack, or transship goods;

e) Refusing service to owners of road vehicles who do not comply with parking lot regulations;

g) Subject to inspection and supervision by competent State agencies.
