Donald Trump built his campaign message around bold promises, including demanding Mexico pay for a border wall, completely rejecting the ObamaCare healthcare law, investigating Hillary Clinton, and banning Muslims from entering the United States.

Regarding President Obama's healthcare law, Trump said he wanted to retain some parts of it and might seek to amend the regulations rather than repeal it.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, an adviser to Trump, suggested that the president-elect is unlikely to seek to require Mexico to pay for the border wall.Meanwhile, former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, a close adviser to Trump, seemed certain the wall would be built but didn't specify a timeframe.

"It will take a long time to deal with the wall issue," Giuliani said. "He will certainly build it; it was a campaign promise. He will not break his campaign promise," the former mayor added.

After leaving a meeting with Republican leaders at the U.S. Capitol on November 10, Trump was asked by reporters about his top three priorities after taking office. He mentioned securing the borders, healthcare reform, and creating jobs.

"Did you ask Congress to ban all Muslims from entering the country?" a reporter asked. Mr. Trump appeared to hear the question but did not answer, instead thanking everyone and leaving.
