Donald Trump hopes Iran will begin negotiations for a new agreement.
U.S. President Donald Trump hopes that Iran will begin negotiations with the U.S. to reach an even better deal, he said at a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

"I hope that at some point they will come to us, we will sit down and sign an agreement that is good for them, for us, and for everyone," the US leader said.
"Iran is not the same country it was a few months ago. This is a new group of leaders," Trump emphasized.
On May 8, the US President announced Washington's withdrawal from the agreement with Iran on its nuclear program, reached in 2015 by six international mediators (Russia, the US, the UK, China, France, and Germany).
