The Tho ethnic group in Tan Ky organized a provincial-level Great Unity Festival.

Attending the meeting were Comrade Phan Sy Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and other members of the delegation. Representing Tan Ky district were Comrade Le Van Ngoc - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, and other leaders of Tan Ky district.

In the vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere of the National Unity Day in the residential area, delegates, officials, and people of Trung Do hamlet, Tan Hop commune, reviewed the glorious traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front over 94 years of development and growth; assessed the implementation of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements; and launched new emulation movements in the area.

Trung Do hamlet currently has 244 households with 1,042 inhabitants, of which the Tho ethnic group accounts for 98%; the lives of the people are still difficult, and the poverty rate remains high at 22%.

Over the past year, emulation movements, cultural and artistic activities, and sports events have been regularly organized and maintained; traditional cultural values ​​and the cultural identity of the Tho ethnic group have been preserved and promoted. The people in the hamlet have always been united, supporting and helping each other, upholding the traditions of "Remembering the source when drinking water," "Showing gratitude," and "Mutual affection."

For example, the hamlet provided 244 man-days of labor to build a house for one family and contributed 16.5 million VND in cash to support house construction for poor households according to Directive No. 21 of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; the people contributed more than 42 million VND to build streetlights and flagpoles along the main roads of the hamlet. At the same time, they donated 14,100 square meters of land to expand the road from Trung Do hamlet to Chau Ly commune, Quy Hop district.

Joining in the festivities of the National Unity Day, Mr. Phan Sy Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, praised the solidarity of the people in Trung Do hamlet in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws. He also expressed his hope that the officials and people of Trung Do hamlet would continue to care for the cause of national unity, fostering social consensus to help each other develop the economy, alleviate poverty, and achieve legitimate wealth, contributing to the successful realization of economic and social goals and the construction of new rural areas.

On this occasion, Mr. Phan Sỹ Cường, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, presented gifts and congratulated the officials and people of Trung Độ hamlet. He also presented 10 gift packages to poor households in the hamlet, each worth 1 million VND.

Here, the leaders of Tan Ky district presented gifts and congratulated the officials and people of Trung Do hamlet; they also presented 10 gift packages to 10 poor households in Trung Do hamlet, each package worth 500,000 VND.

Following that, leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of Tan Ky district participated in planting commemorative trees in the grounds of the Trung Do hamlet cultural house.
